Aquarium in a lightbulb tutorial - Advanced!

Ok, I'll admit it...I have serious ADD and I get bored easily and need a change of scenery. When I get like that I love to go search for the coolest tutorial I can find for PS. They take hours sometimes, and they are completely different.

It lets me stretch my creative legs! :)

This is what I did the other day:

Pretty cool huh? Best part is you can really add or take away anything you want!

I think the part to remember with these type of things is making it your own a little and not copying every little thing.

I changed fish, moved things around a bit, and even added coral to the back ground.

Here is the link to the tutorial -  Aquarium inside a lightbulb tutorial

Tips:
  •  On some of the things like the sand castle, and what I did with my coral - I set the layer mode to Multiply to skip some of the shadowing and blending steps.
  • Also with like the shells, if you just put the first shell you make into a group and then hit CTRL J it will duplicate the shell. No need to redo it all. Just hit CTRL T after duplicating and move and resize the way you want it. If you hit the SHIFT key while resizing it does not distort it.
Have fun and Good Luck!!
